Q: Where exactly are Spiddal Holiday Homes?
A: On the coast of Connemara - 10 miles west of Galway City - 1 mile before Spiddal
Village.
Q: How close are Spiddal Holiday Homes to the village of Spiddal?
A: 1 mile - Walking time approx. 15 minutes - Drive time less than 5 minutes.
Q: Where can we pick up the key?
A: Go directly to reception on site - Supervisor will direct you to your accommodation
- If he/she is not present when you arrive, read chart in reception window, your name
and number of unit allocated to you will be on chart and key will be in the door -
when necessary heating system will also be turned on.
Q: What time can we check in?
A: April to September - Book In time on Saturdays is after 4.00pm Outside of these
perions times can vary, please check when making the reservation.
Q: What time can we check out?
A: April to September check out time is prior to 10.30am. Outside of these periods
times can vary, please check with the Supervisor 24 hours in advance.
Q: Is there a beach nearby?
A: At Spiddal Village you will find a sandy/rocky beach - there is also a small sandy
beach at Spiddal Harbour.
Q: Where is the nearest shop/supermarket?
A: Spiddal Village has the nearest shops to our complex - Large Centra Supermarket
located at Barna (4 miles).
Q: Where is the nearest pub?
A: Spiddal Village.
Q: Where can we eat out?
A: Spiddal Village - Cruiscin Lan, Boluisce, Bridge House Hotel or Ceol na Furbo
- Padraicins. Barna - Twelve Pins, Donnellys.
Q: Is there music in the pubs?
A: In High Season there is music most nights in a couple of the village pubs and for
the rest of the year at least one of the three pubs in the village has music at weekends.
Q: Is there a bus service?
A: A bus service runs from Galway to Lettermore, passing through Spiddal - it is
approximately an hourly service. It stops after 6.30 pm.

A: 4-RTE1, RTE2, TV3, TG4.

Q: When is the Security/damage deposit refunded?
A: On departure-providing there are no breakages and the accommodation is left
reasonably clean and tidy.
Q: Are Pets allowed?
A: Sorry no pets allowed.
Q: Is there a sea view?
A: Our complex is situated on an elevated site - overlooking Galway Bay, offering
views of the Coast of Clare, the Burren and Aran Islands. Most of the cottages
have views of this coastline. The apartments do not have views of the Bay.
Q: Is there Babysitting Service available?
A: The Supervisor has details for various Babysitters available-List at receptionon on
site.
Q: When can you book weekends or mid-week?
A: 'Low Season' Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb and Mar-we have very keen weekend and
mid-week rates available. April, May, June and September are shoulder season months and
generally sell on Sat to Sat basis, depending on demand sometimes there are weekends
available. High Season Jul and Aug are strictly Sat to Sat basis.
